When you have created your first guide it's time to modify the design and choose how and where it should appear. Haven't created your first guide yet? Click here.
To design and publish a guide on your website you need to create a placement. Go to Product guides and click on Connect placement -> Create new
In the placement settings the most important settings you need to publish your guide is:
- URL: On what pages on your website should the guide appear
- Position: Should the guide be embedded on your site or displayed as a modal
Done!
If you have installed Dialogtrail's script on your website, clicking on publish will make the guide appear on the URL you entered. For more information on how to install Dialogtrail's script, click here.
